ABOUT

The daughter of film industry parents, Jordan Bobbitt has grown up on film sets in Los Angeles, New York, New Mexico and London. It came as no surprise to her parents when she professed a love of all things theater and film, except that she was only about three years old at the time!  She soon began performing in the stage productions of Little Miss Spider, Stone Soup, Little Red Writing Hood, Peter Pan, Grease, Sound of Music and Highschool Musical. Her first acting class as a toddler was at age 4 with Kids on Stage in Sherman Oaks, CA.  Shortly thereafter she began landing lead roles in school theater productions. Her love of performing eventually led to several modeling assignments and photo shoots.

Over the years Jordan continued to attend many acclaimed acting schools and workshops including Lee Strasberg NYC, Lee Strasberg LA, Adderley School for the Performing Arts, Showboat Youth Theater and Jon Smet & Jan Bina’s Commercial Workshop at YAS.

In 2008, Jordan was featured in the Lee Strasberg LA student film, “Life Lessons,” directed by Elizabeth Bauman. The film was an official selection at both the Los Angeles Children’s Film Festival and the San Francico Children’s Film Festival and Jordan spoke on the panel at the screening in Los Angeles. In the summer of 2010, Jordan was accepted into the first class of the prestigious New Mexico School of the Arts Acting Intensive Program and blossomed under the tutelage of the talented Joey Chavez. In addition to her studies and constant stream of auditions, Jordan has taken on the role of  Tween Red Carpet Reporter for The Hollywood Mom Blog, covering events like movie premieres and award ceremonies. Back in her home town of Los Angeles, Jordan continues to improve her craft with acclaimed coaches Sara Wood of Valley West Actors Space and with private coach, Elizabeth Bauman.
